Lightboxes & illuminated menu boards — illustrative signage concept
Illustrative design concept · your sign is made around your artwork

MADE AROUND YOUR BUSINESS

An evenly lit message, with a clear purpose.

A lightbox uses an illuminated enclosure to light a sign face from behind. It can carry a business logo, opening message, promotional graphic or a printed menu. Unlike a digital menu screen, a conventional lightbox displays a physical graphic face. The enclosure, face material and lighting are specified around the sign size, environment and how often the content needs to change.

01

For logos and menus

A lightbox can make a logo, printed menu or short message easier to pick out in a busy commercial setting.

02

A format for your space

Explore wall-mounted, projecting or internal display arrangements, with single or double-sided options.

03

Think about future updates

If menus or promotions change regularly, discuss how the face will be accessed and replaced before selecting the construction.

BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE

A few good
questions.

Have a specific requirement? Include it in your brief.

Is an illuminated menu board the same as a digital screen?

No. A conventional illuminated menu board lights a physical graphic or panel. A digital menu screen shows electronic content that can be updated through its media or content system.

Can the graphic be replaced?

Some constructions allow the face or printed graphic to be changed. Mention how frequently you expect to update the content so the right system can be considered.

Can I use a lightbox outdoors?

Exterior use needs an appropriate enclosure, materials and electrical specification. Include the proposed position and exposure in your enquiry.
